This is one of the first european sports cars that actually turned my head as a kid. This series of spiders probably owe much of its popularity from its more evolved Duetto model featured a decade later in "The Graduate". So, you might call this model "The Undergraduate".
This Giulietta model replicates the Normale version which is a more driveable version than the chokeless dual Weber carburated Veloce which is the race version that, if just driven around town performs rather poorly and is plagued with oil fouled plugs when not driven hard.
AUTOart has done well with this replica and, for its midrange pricepoint, offers commendable bang for the the buck. It is rather surprising that this rather iconic image hasn't been done before.
The model looks great with or without its hardtop. It's got great paint, super tight shutlines, rich chrome and beautifully crafted hardware.
