Bob Veith drove in 54 National Championship races between 1955 and 1968 and gained a reputation for being able to qualify for a race with little practice and to "bring them home." He qualified for his first Indy 500 in 1956, finished 7th, and was awarded the Rookie of the Year award. Of his 11 starts in the Indianapolis "500," six ended up with finishes in the top 12. This is an exact replica of Bob Veith's beautiful "Rookie of the Year" car from 1956.
