Here is an outstanding beauty, and like the black and red 540K model reviewed a few weeks ago on this board, there are no disappointments associated with it. This 1:24 scale model is built to the excellent standards we witnessed in the earlier releases from CMC of the 36 Mercedes 500 K Roadster and the 1932 MB SSK "Black Prince". Detail is exquisite. The upholstery on the door panels and seats is very realistic and made with real leather. The dash gauges are in actual relief as opposed to decals we have seen in many other models in the market place. The top is removable.

The model's component parts are constructed to very close tolerances. The fitting of the doors and hood are very snug with no unsightly gaps to disrupt the beautiful symmetry of this luxurious motor car. The choice of blue and white colors for this model under review is yet another classy touch which sets it apart. In the nitpicking department, the car model is not identified on the underside and the wheels, even with their crisply defined spokes, are not quite correct. In your reviewers opinion, this 540K model and the previously reviewed red & black are just about as nice as it gets in this diecast world.
