This latest DM release is another in a long line of well done releases in the "Dominators of the Dragstrip" Series. An extremely well detailed '61 Corvette Gasser, the engine is the focal point of this model. The tall aluminum Hillborn injector tubes, topped by orange balls and chains used
on this genre of car in the early 60's to keep debris out of the injectors, really stand out. The front end of the car is jacked WAY up, with leaf spring front suspension and HUGE header collectors just to the rear of the front wheels. The wheels themselves are the dark gray, magnesium finish of that period, with six spoke in front and slotted in the rear. The Notched sidewall M & H slicks finish off the look.
The Silver paint is nicely done, with a smooth, glossy finish.
The coves are done in white, and various racing graphics complete the full blown racer look! The car comes with a removable hardtop, an aluminum roll bar and a tonnueu cover, so the look of the car can be easily changed to suit your taste. A must have for the Vintage drag racing fans out there!
In my opinion, a five star effort by DM!
