Now THIS is a repaint/revitalization I welcome with open arms. This color was long overdue for the split-window coupe. FM has previously given us two versions of this '63 Corvette icon in fiberglass. The first was gorgeous in Sebring Silver. The second, nearly legendary, as a limited edition of 3000. It was issued in Daytona Blue. Both were treated to rare status and presented as Z06-optioned cars; only 199 were ever made.

But in Silver Blue, RPO code 912, the car shows every curve and edge with complimentary highlights from almost any light source. AND the edition count is only 1963! The perfect contrasting interior was chosen by FM, Corvette's 1963 dark blue. FM also revitalized the image by adding chrome metal-folied insignias, front, back and on both front fender-sides. As with the prior issues, the suspension is operational, headlight pods revolve open and the engine detail is simply amazing. Of the three fiberglass '63's, I do believe I like this one best!
