Franklin Mint 1968 Ford Mustang GT LE 1968

This issue revisits the '68 Mustang FM initially released in Lime Gold in 2004. A year later they tweaked it with a coat of Candy Apple Red. This iteration, still in drop top form, is well done in Raven Black with red side accents, red interior with wood trim.

The GT has the 390 cubic inch big block, fitting for the sinister black 'Stang. White raised letter tires and scupted steel wheels carry off the 'look' nicely. The 'up top' in black and the boot in red, fit well and look good withever way you care to display it.

The details are good front to back. The engine has the right wiring and plumbing, the interior looks wonderful and the chassis and trunk details give a great account for themselves. The upcoming "Bullitt" version will be the first '68 hard top and may lend itself to a stock street version of this great looking little Mustang.
