Franklin Mint made these exclusively for BASF Corporation. Essentially a 'model year' re-do, TFM was commissioned by BASF to make the iconic Gullwing in 1957 guise. The model carries the updated metal-foiled badges front and rear and scripts on driver's side and rear. Those read, "300 SL" and "Mercedes Benz".
