The 1988 Castrol Jaguar was one of the most potent, accomplished and recognized cars ever to come from the legendary sports car. The Jaguar XJR-9 was run on both sides of the Atlantic with an auspicious win at Daytona. Jaguar went on to triumph at Le Mans -- the first time since 1980 a non-Porsche entrant won. It was also the first victory for Jaguar at Le Mans since 1957. The Jaguar XJR-9 took top honors at the 1988 World Sportscar Championship.
