Highway 61 1929 Ford Model A Street Racer - LE of 2500

The "Origins of Speed" collection features 1/18th scale die cast 1929 Ford Model A roadster bodies on 1932 Ford frames. Based on the first "hot rods" that originated out of southern California in the mid-1930's through the late 1940's, this limited series of eight releases faithfully reproduce the early days of automotive high performance.

This Orange street racer replicates a classic Model 'A' V-8 powered roadster with Supercharged (S.Co.T. blower) engine to include Stromberg carburetors and chrome bonnets, aluminum intake manifold and finned heads, and "beehive" oil filter. Other features include distributor ignition, with engine-mounted coil and trunk-mounted battery, custom "DuVall" windshield, frame-mounted headlights and '39 Ford "Teardrop" taillights. Ford solid steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and vintage whitewalled Firestone track tires complete the street racer look.
