In 1971, the BRE Datsun 240Z #46 with John Morton driving, won the ARRC (American Road Racing Championship ) for the second year in a row.
With Peter Brock's guidance, over 65 new pieces have been created to convert the stock 240Z model into the BRE Champion. Parts include the triple-carbureted racing engine, BRE "Spook" and spoiler, wheels, tires, VHT-painted racing exhaust, seat, instrument panel "Wink" rear view mirror and steering wheel.
The cockpit comes equipped with the racing seat, four-point seat belt system, roll bar, racing steering wheel and instrument panel that has been modified with gauges and switches to perfectly replicate the original race car. The engine bay features the triple Mikuni-carbureted 2.4 liter BRE racing engine with heat shield, racing headers, oil catch can, oil cooler and all the plumbing and wiring found on the original car.
In 46 of the limited edition of 3,000 will be a special message card with Peter Brock’s autograph.
