Bugatti introduced the Type 46 in 1929, with its 5.3-liter engine and a wheelbase of 3505 mm.  A reduced version of the famous Royale, the Type 46 shares many of the features of its predecessor. This car was purchased in a completely disassembled, and it took 14 years to restore it to its former glory. Most of this time was spent tracking down various mechanical and electrical components. The car is considered the only remaining Type 46S. It is a great sport cabriolet Open Salon (sedan or discoverable) Type 46S compressor, chassis No. 46525 built by the coachbuilder Reinboldt & Christie, Basel (Switzerland).
