1st in its class in the 24 Hours of Spa in 1971 (something that no one thought it could do). It is really a
story of not listening to the doubters, and just going with your gut. I love those underdog stories, don’t
you? Many racing enthusiasts love this car and what she represents. She was a challenge to paint, but I’m
really happy with how she turned out.
I am honored that this painting was a finalist in the Art Renewal Center 2020 Exhibition. There were
almost 5,000 entries from over 80 countries around the world. It was a thrill to have my work included
