The 1984 Ferrari Testarossa in White is one of the defining supercars of the 1980s, combining Pininfarina’s dramatic wedge-shaped design with a mid-mounted 4.9-liter, 48-valve flat-12 producing 390 horsepower. Its most recognizable feature is the extraordinary series of horizontal side strakes, which channel air toward the side-mounted radiators while giving the Testarossa its exceptionally wide and unmistakable profile. Ferrari also used a chrome-molybdenum frame for increased rigidity and a five-speed manual transaxle driving the rear wheels. Introduced at the 1984 Paris Motor Show, the Testarossa broke sharply from conventional Ferrari styling and became an instant automotive icon.
