Lando Norris’s first Formula 1 win came at the Miami International Autodrome in a dramatic display of skill and strategy. After starting from P5, Norris deftly navigated the race's pivotal Safety Car phase—making his pit stop just as the track slowed—and emerged in the lead. From there, he held off Max Verstappen, ultimately crossing the finish line a strong 7.6 seconds ahead to take the win after 110 podium-less starts. What made this race particularly unique was McLaren’s bold "almost B-spec" upgrade package tailored specifically for Miami's track demands, including new suspension geometry, revised brake ducts, and updated bodywork—including circuit-specific beam and rear wings—that elevated the MCL38’s performance significantly.
