The Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) #77, fielded by AO Racing and affectionately nicknamed “Rexy,” won the GTD PRO class at the 2025 IMSA Twelve Hours of Sebring with drivers Laurin Heinrich of Germany, Klaus Bachler of Austria, and Alessio Picariello of Belgium. Heinrich, a former Porsche Junior and 2024 IMSA GTD PRO champion, helped lead the team to its first major IMSA endurance-race victory, finishing just 4.371 seconds ahead of the second-place BMW. The car's most distinctive feature is its bright dinosaur-green livery, complete with black spots, red accents, and a toothy mouth across the front bumper, making Rexy one of the most recognizable cars in endurance racing. Beneath its playful appearance, the 911 GT3 R features a 4.2-liter flat-six engine, rear-wheel drive, advanced racing aerodynamics, and a competition-tuned suspension built for the demands of 12-hour endurance racing.
