This is the 1981 Volvo 262C Bertone Black in 1:18 scale by Cult.

The 1981 Volvo 262C Bertone is a distinctive luxury coupe that blends Swedish engineering with Italian design flair. Based on the Volvo 200 Series, the 262C was redesigned and hand-finished by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Bertone, featuring a unique chopped roofline, thicker C-pillars, and a more formal, upscale profile compared to standard Volvo models. Powered by a 2.8-liter PRV V6 engine, it prioritized smooth cruising over outright performance. What truly set the 262C apart from its competition was its combination of understated Scandinavian durability with bespoke Italian luxury, including plush leather interiors, wood trim, and a level of exclusivity rare for Volvo at the time. This unusual fusion made the 262C Bertone a standout grand touring coupe, appealing to buyers seeking something both refined and unconventional in the early 1980s.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
