This is the A-10 C Warthog Thunderbolt II Diecast Model in 1:72 Scale.

When the mission demands relentless power and unwavering presence in the Strait of Hormuz, the A-10 Thunderbolt II—the legendary Warthog—remains the ultimate guardian of the waves. In the high-stakes environment of Operation Epic Fury, this battle-hardened titan has proven that modern conflicts still require the raw, mechanical dominance of the GAU-8 Avenger cannon. While faster jets fly over the fray, the Warthog stays in it, providing persistent overwatch and surgical precision against swarm tactics that would overwhelm any other platform. Its unmatched ability to absorb punishment and keep fighting makes it more than just an aircraft; it is a symbol of American resilience and the most feared sight in the sky for those who threaten global stability. From neutralizing fast-attack craft to dismantling militia infrastructure, the A-10 isn't just participating in the conflict—it is defining the outcome.

A-10 Warthogs have been actively engaged in combat operations against Iranian forces as part of Operation Epic Fury. Despite long-standing plans by the U.S. Air Force to retire the 1970s-era aircraft, the Warthog has found a critical new mission in the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding regions.

The primary role for the A-10 in this conflict is hunting Iranian fast-attack watercraft used by the IRGC to block global shipping lanes.

Targeting Swarms: Its 30mm GAU-8 Avenger cannon is highly effective at shredding lightly armored, high-speed boats.

Loitering Capability: The A-10's ability to stay over a target area for long periods allows it to provide persistent overwatch for mine-clearing ships and tankers.

Precision Munitions: In addition to the cannon, pilots use APKWS laser-guided rockets and AGM-65 Maverick missiles to engage surface threats.

Ground Support and Drone Interception

Beyond the sea, Warthogs are being used for close air support (CAS) and neutralizing aerial threats.

Militia Strikes: A-10s have conducted strikes against Iranian-backed militias in Iraq, often using high-angle attack runs to avoid MANPADS (shoulder-fired missiles).

Drone Hunting: Working alongside AH-64 Apache helicopters, A-10s have been tasked with identifying and destroying Iranian-made one-way attack drones.
