The 2014 Porsche 911 (930) RWB Garuda in Garuda Gold is a striking creation from Japanese Porsche customizer Akira Nakai, founder of RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB). Built in Japan in June 2013, Garuda features RWB's dramatic 930 Super Wide body kit, with enormous riveted fender extensions, deep side skirts, an aggressive front bumper, and a distinctive rear wing. Its gold finish gives the heavily customized Porsche an unmistakable presence, while its exaggerated proportions and wide performance stance reflect RWB's signature blend of Japanese tuning culture and classic German engineering. This 1:18 GT Spirit resin release captures a particularly distinctive RWB creation and its bold, unmistakable personality.

2014 RWB Garuda Garuda Gold in 1:18 scale by GT Spirit.

GT Spirit 1:8 scale models are widely regarded as premium collector pieces due to their exceptional size, realism, and craftsmanship. At roughly 60 cm (about 24 inches) long, these models are large enough to showcase extremely fine details, making them closer to display or museum-quality replicas than typical die-cast collectibles. They are usually produced from high-grade resin, which allows sharper body lines, more precise curves, and highly accurate interior features such as dashboards, seats, and wheels. Because they are often released as limited-edition models, they are carefully assembled and painted in multiple layers to replicate the real car’s finish, giving them a strikingly realistic appearance that serious collectors value highly.
