This is the 1968 Dodge Super Stock Hemi Dart LO23 – Mr. Norm’s in 1:18 scale by Highway61.

The 1968 Dodge Super Stock Hemi Dart LO23, particularly those delivered through Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago, represents one of the most extreme factory drag cars ever built. Designed explicitly for NHRA Super Stock competition, only 80 units were produced, each stripped of non-essential components to reduce weight—omitting items like the heater, radio, rear seats, and even window cranks. To further lighten the vehicle, Hurst Performance replaced the front fenders and hood with fiberglass panels and acid-dipped the steel doors. Under the hood, a race-spec 426 HEMI engine with dual Holley carburetors atop a lightweight aluminum intake manifold delivered formidable power, enabling quarter-mile times in the 10-second range straight from the factory. Mr. Norm's dealership played a pivotal role in distributing these cars to private racers, offering them at competitive prices and solidifying the LO23 Hemi Dart's status as a drag strip legend.

This exquisite model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish.
