This is the Mercedes CLK GTR #12 1997 FIA GT Championship in 1:18 scale by IVY.

The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR #12 competed in the 1997 FIA GT Championship with drivers Bernd Schneider and Klaus Ludwig at the helm, forming one of the most formidable pairings of the season. Designed as a homologation special for the GT1 class, the CLK GTR featured a mid-mounted V12 engine and advanced aerodynamics, allowing it to dominate long-distance circuits against rivals like McLaren and Porsche. What set this car—and its races—apart was Mercedes’ exceptional combination of speed, reliability, and precision, which helped the #12 secure multiple victories in a season remembered for high-speed battles and technical innovation in GT racing.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
