The Porsche 911 (991.2) GT3 R #8 of IronForce by Ring Police, driven by Jan-Erik Slooten, Lucas Luhr, Adrien de Leener, and Steve Jans, finished an impressive 11th overall and 4th in the Pro-Am class at the 2019 24 Hours of Nürburgring after starting 24th. Slooten, a team founder and experienced Porsche racer, shared the car with veteran professional Lucas Luhr, who brought extensive endurance-racing experience to the lineup. The 2019 GT3 R was Porsche's newly developed customer racer, featuring a rear-mounted 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six producing more than 500 hp, sophisticated GT3 aerodynamics, and a lightweight competition chassis. Its striking white, black, yellow, and purple IronForce livery with purple wheels made the #8 particularly recognizable among the Nürburgring's field of GT3 machinery.
