The Ferrari 330 P4 No. 21 finished 2nd overall at the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans, driven by Ferrari factory stars Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes. Scarfiotti was a highly accomplished Italian racer who won the 1966 Italian Grand Prix for Ferrari, while Parkes was a talented British driver-engineer whose technical knowledge made him particularly valuable to Ferrari’s sports-car program. The 330 P4 was powered by a magnificent 4.0-liter V12 producing around 450 hp, coupled to a five-speed gearbox and sophisticated independent suspension. Its distinctive mid-engine layout, lightweight tubular chassis, and aerodynamically refined bodywork gave it exceptional high-speed performance and balance. The P4 is especially famous for Ferrari’s dramatic battle with Ford at Le Mans in 1967, and the No. 21’s second-place finish helped cement the 330 P4 as one of the most iconic endurance prototypes of the 1960s.
