The 1994 Land Rover Range Rover P38 introduced the second generation of the Range Rover, combining the marque’s renowned off-road capability with a significantly more sophisticated level of luxury and technology. Its distinctive design retained the classic Range Rover silhouette while adding a more modern, aerodynamic body and a substantially upgraded interior. One of its most important innovations was its electronically controlled air suspension, which automatically adjusted ride height and could raise the vehicle for demanding off-road conditions or lower it for easier access and improved road manners. The P38 also offered advanced electronic traction and transfer-case controls, while power came from refined V8 and diesel engines depending on market.
