Audi Revolut F1 Team R26 Nico Hulkenberg 2026 Australian GP in 1:43 scale
At the 2026 Australian Grand Prix, Nico Hülkenberg made his debut for Audi Revolut F1 Team in the No.27 Audi R26. A veteran of more than a decade in Formula 1, Hülkenberg is renowned for his technical feedback, consistency, and ability to maximize the performance of a new car. Unfortunately, a technical issue on the way to the starting grid prevented him from taking the race start, although the weekend still marked the historic debut of Audi as a full Formula 1 constructor.
What set the Audi R26 apart from other race cars was its first-ever Audi-designed Formula 1 hybrid power unit, developed specifically for the sweeping 2026 regulations. The car combined a compact carbon-fiber chassis with active aerodynamics, a 50% electrified hybrid system, and advanced energy recovery technology, making it one of the most technically ambitious newcomers on the grid. The distinctive silver, black, and red Audi livery also gave the R26 a unique identity as the first factory-built Audi Formula 1 car.
