1971 Maserati Bora Silver 1:43

loading...

The 1971 Maserati Bora in Silver was a landmark for Maserati, becoming the company’s first production road car with a mid-mounted engine. Designed by legendary stylist Giorgetto Giugiaro, its sleek, wedge-shaped body concealed a longitudinal 4.7-liter DOHC V8 producing 310 horsepower, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. What made the Bora particularly distinctive was its unusual combination of supercar performance and grand-touring comfort, including independent suspension on all four wheels and a Citroën-derived hydraulic system that operated the brakes, retractable headlights, driver’s seat, and pedals. With only 564 examples produced from 1971–1978, the silver Bora remains one of Maserati’s rarest and most technically fascinating classic GTs.
