This is the BMW M1 No.90 Le Mans 24H 1983 von Bayern/Pallavicini/Winther in 1:18 scale by Spark.

The BMW M1 No. 90 at the 1983 24 Hours of Le Mans was piloted by Prince Leopold von Bayern, Angelo Pallavicini, and Jens Winther in a striking Group B‑spec BMW M1 sporting a Warsteiner livery, powered by the mid‑engine BMW M88 3.5 L inline‑6 — a layout and engine that made it feel more like a road‑going supercar than the pure prototypes surrounding it on the Mulsanne Straight. Although the car showed competitive pace, it was ultimately forced to retire with gearbox issues after about 160 laps, meaning it didn’t reach the finish. What set this entry apart was not just its distinctive German tuning and engine character, but the fact that — even in an era dominated by powerful Group C prototypes — the M1’s supercar roots and brave privateer effort added memorable variety to the 1983 grid.
