The 2026 Ford Mustang GT3 EVO No. 64, entered by Miedecke Motorsport by Team MPC, delivered an outstanding second-place overall finish at the 50th anniversary Suzuka 1000km in Japan. Driven by Ford factory drivers Christopher Mies, Dennis Olsen, and Frédéric Vervisch, the Mustang started from pole position and completed all 184 laps of the demanding endurance race. Its naturally aspirated 5.4-liter Coyote V8 engine produces approximately 540 horsepower, delivering the unmistakable sound and performance associated with Ford's legendary Mustang heritage. The GT3 EVO features extensive aerodynamic development, a race-prepared chassis, and sophisticated suspension and braking systems designed for international GT competition. Finishing just 51.416 seconds behind the winning Porsche, the No. 64 made history by recording the highest overall Suzuka 1000km finish ever achieved by an American manufacturer. It was a tremendous debut for the Mustang GT3 EVO at Suzuka and an important milestone for Ford's global endurance racing program.
