This is the Grid S2 No.25 Le Mans 24H 1984 Wood/Cooper/Robinson in 1:43 scale by Spark.
The Grid S2 No. 25 at Le Mans 1984 was a Group C prototype entered by Charles Ivey Racing, driven by British racers Dudley Wood, John Cooper, and Barry Robinson. The car was powered by a twin-turbo flat-six derived from a Porsche 930/935 and featured a lightweight monocoque designed by Geoff Aldridge with aluminum honeycomb panels. What makes its Le Mans outing unique is how quickly it ended: after qualifying 29th, the car retired just 10 laps into the race due to electrical/fuel feed problems (reportedly a fuel load mis-calculation) when it simply ran out of fuel.
Spark models are hand painted, decorated and assembled. Each model is created using a variety of
production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched
parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Spark ensures the absolute best
quality possible. Each model comes with its own acrylic display case.
