The 1990 Jaguar XJR-12 No. 3, fielded by Silk Cut Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, secured a magnificent overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking Jaguar's seventh triumph at the legendary endurance race. Powered by a formidable 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing approximately 720 horsepower, the aerodynamic Group C prototype combined exceptional speed with the durability needed for 24 hours of competition. Driven by Martin Brundle, John Nielsen, and Price Cobb, the No. 3 covered 359 laps and finished ahead of its sister Jaguar XJR-12. Its distinctive purple-and-white Silk Cut livery and commanding V12 performance make it one of the most memorable endurance racing Jaguars of the era.
