The Maserati 300S No. 15 (Chassis #3054 “Shortnose”) competed in the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans with drivers Roberto Mieres and Cesare Perdisa, two talented Italian racers who represented Maserati’s factory sports car effort during the golden age of endurance racing. Mieres was an accomplished Argentine driver known for his smooth and consistent style, while Perdisa was a promising Italian racer who also competed in Formula One. The 300S was one of Maserati’s most successful sports prototypes, featuring a lightweight tubular chassis, aerodynamic bodywork, and a powerful 3.0-liter straight-six engine derived from Maserati’s Grand Prix technology. The “Shortnose” version was unique with its revised front-end design developed for improved airflow and handling, giving it a distinctive appearance compared with earlier 300S models. Combining Italian craftsmanship, racing-derived engineering, and a high-revving engine, the Maserati 300S became a formidable competitor against Ferrari and Jaguar during the classic era of endurance racing.

production processes, such as hand cast resin, diecast and injected molded thermoplastics.Photo etched
parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are also used. Spark ensures the absolute best
