This is the Maserati 300S No.16 Le Mans 24H 1955 L. Musso - "Gino" Chassis #3055 / Shortnose in 1:43 scale by Spark.

The Maserati 300S No. 16 (Chassis #3055 “Shortnose”) competed in the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans with drivers Luigi Musso and “Gino” (Gino Valenzano). Musso was one of Italy’s most talented racing drivers of the 1950s, later becoming a Ferrari Formula One star, while Valenzano was an experienced Italian sports car racer who competed successfully in endurance events. The 300S was Maserati’s answer to the dominant Ferrari and Jaguar sports racers, featuring a lightweight tubular frame, elegant aluminum bodywork, and a race-bred 3.0-liter inline-six engine derived from Maserati’s Grand Prix expertise. Chassis #3055 was a special “Shortnose” variant, designed with a revised front profile to improve aerodynamics, cooling, and high-speed stability. Its combination of Italian styling, advanced engineering, and direct links to Maserati’s Grand Prix program made the 300S one of the most admired sports prototypes of the 1950s.
