The ORECA 07-Gibson #24, entered by Nielsen Racing for the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, was driven by Australian Jack Doohan, Danish endurance specialist David Heinemeier Hansson, and British racer Edward Pearson. Doohan, the son of five-time motorcycle Grand Prix world champion Mick Doohan, has competed in Formula One and brings valuable single-seater experience to endurance racing. Heinemeier Hansson is an experienced Le Mans competitor, while Pearson adds further sports-car racing experience. The blue-and-white #24 is an LMP2 prototype, powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter Gibson V8 producing approximately 510 horsepower. Its lightweight construction, enclosed cockpit, sculpted aerodynamic bodywork, and high-downforce design make it very different from production-based GT3 cars. Nielsen Racing returned to Le Mans seeking redemption after its 2025 entry retired following an accident.
