The Peugeot 9X8 #93, driven by Paul di Resta, Stoffel Vandoorne, and Nick Cassidy, represented Peugeot Sport's challenge in the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans Hypercar class with a world-class driver lineup. Di Resta brought extensive endurance and Formula 1 experience, Vandoorne combined Grand Prix and Formula E success with outstanding technical feedback, and Cassidy added championship-winning pace from Formula E and GT racing. The Peugeot 9X8 stood apart from virtually every other Hypercar through its revolutionary aerodynamic philosophy, famously debuting without a conventional rear wing and instead relying on underbody aerodynamics and carefully managed airflow to generate downforce.
