Buus is a talented Danish Porsche factory driver, Preining is an Austrian former DTM champion, and Feller is a highly accomplished Swiss GT racer; all three were competing as Porsche DTM drivers. The No. 80 was particularly remarkable because an unscheduled engine change forced it to start from the pit lane, effectively sending it to the back of the 69-car field.
