The Porsche 911 (991‑2) RSR‑19 car No. 92 took the start at the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans, driven by a powerhouse lineup: Michael Christensen, Kévin Estre, and Laurens Vanthoor. Christensen, a Danish factory driver, had already claimed class wins at Le Mans (2018 with Glock, Estre & Vanthoor) and brought deep endurance expertise. Estre, the fast and tactical French GT specialist, and Vanthoor, the Belgian former World Endurance and Spa 24 Hour champion, both reinforced the crew’s strength.
Their #92 RSR‑19 delivered a commanding performance through the race, finishing 4th in the fiercely competitive GTE‑Pro class. While it didn’t reach the podium, the result was notable given that its sister car (#91) shattered the existing GTE‑Pro distance record—showing Porsche’s RSR‑19 platform's enduring pace. What set the 2022 edition apart was its 90th‑anniversary celebration of Le Mans, infusing the event with extra historic significance. Against that backdrop, the #92’s mature, error‑free effort—steered by a trio with deep endurance pedigree—highlighted the car’s consistency and reliability in a landmark running of the world’s most iconic endurance race.
