The Tyrrell P34 Presentation is one of the most radical and recognizable cars ever created in Formula One. Designed by engineer Derek Gardner, the P34 debuted in 1975 and raced in the 1976–1977 seasons with a unique six-wheel configuration—four small 10-inch wheels at the front and two standard rear wheels. This design reduced aerodynamic drag and increased the front tire contact patch, improving grip while allowing the wheels to sit behind the front wing for smoother airflow. Tyrrell P34 cars were built primarily with right-hand-drive (RHD) cockpits, which was typical for British-built Formula One cars of the era, though the central driving position meant the layout functionally resembled a symmetrical single-seat design rather than a road-car-style LHD or RHD setup. Powered by a 3.0-liter Ford-Cosworth DFV V8 producing roughly 470–485 horsepower, the car even achieved a historic 1-2 victory at the 1976 Swedish Grand Prix, making it the only six-wheel Formula One car ever to win a Grand Prix.
