This is the Ferrari Dino 196 S Sebring 12h 1961 #37 18th Place W. Helburn /S. Hudson/ J. Fulp in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.

The Ferrari Dino 196 S, car #37, finished 18th overall at the 1961 12 Hours of Sebring, driven by the American trio William Helburn, Skip Hudson, and Jim Fulp. This endurance race, held on Florida’s rough and demanding airfield circuit, was renowned for testing both driver stamina and mechanical durability under grueling conditions. While the #37 Dino 196 S didn’t contend for the top spots, the diverse team of privateer drivers showcased determination and teamwork against a competitive field that included factory-backed Ferraris and other marques. The 1961 Sebring was notable for its challenging mix of heat, dust, and rough surfaces, making simply finishing a significant achievement and highlighting the Dino’s role as a nimble, reliable competitor in the fiercely contested American endurance racing scene.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
