This is the Porsche 718 WRS Nürburgring1000 km 1962 Car #111 3rd Place G. Hill/H. Herrmann in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.

At the Porsche 718 WRS #111 — driven by Graham Hill and Hans Herrmann — the 1962 Nürburgring 1000 Kilometres resulted in a gritty and impressive third-place overall finish. The 1962 running of the Nürburgring 1000 km was notorious for the brutal demands of the 22.8-km Nordschleife: the drivers completed 44 laps, covering over 1,000 kilometres in a race that blended high-speed straights, twisting Eifel Mountain roads, and ever-changing weather conditions — a true test of car, driver and reliability. What made this result particularly noteworthy was that the 718 WRS was a lightweight, mid-engined two-litre prototype competing — and beating many larger-displacement cars — to finish on the overall podium, highlighting both the car’s engineering and the driving skill of Hill and Herrmann.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
