This is the 1993 McLaren F1 Road car Orange/Red in 1:12 scale by Top Marques.

The 1993 McLaren F1 in its iconic orange‑red livery is a milestone of automotive engineering and a legend among supercars. It was the first production car with a full carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, making it ultra-rigid yet surprisingly light. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.1L BMW V12 producing 627 hp, it was the fastest production car of its time, achieving a record 231 mph (or 240 mph with the limiter off). Unique to the F1 is its central driving position flanked by two passenger seats, offering unparalleled driver engagement—a layout directly inspired by Formula 1. Adding to its exclusivity were gold-foil heat shielding in the engine bay and titanium tools, all reflecting Gordon Murray’s obsessive attention to detail and purity of design. This orange‑red variant captures everything that sets the F1 apart: groundbreaking materials, brain‑trust engineering, and a visceral, driver‑centric experience unlike any other.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
