The BMW M4 GT3 EVO #3 Schubert Motorsport was driven by Kelvin van der Linde, the South African BMW M works driver, who returned to the DTM in 2026 after a one-year break. At Zandvoort Race 2, van der Linde started from pole and secured his first DTM victory with BMW M Motorsport, completing 35 laps and earning the “Driver of the Day” honors. The #3 M4 GT3 EVO stands out with its Shell-backed livery and purpose-built GT3 engineering, combining a powerful twin-turbocharged straight-six with extensive aerodynamic bodywork, a large rear wing, racing suspension and sophisticated electronics. Unlike a modified road car, the M4 GT3 EVO is engineered specifically for endurance and sprint competition, making it a highly specialized racing version of the M4.
