The Porsche 963 #7, fielded by Porsche Penske Motorsport, won the 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona with Felipe Nasr, Julien Andlauer, and Laurin Heinrich sharing the driving duties. Nasr, a Brazilian endurance-racing specialist and three-time consecutive Daytona winner, brought the car across the line just 1.569 seconds ahead after 705 laps. The 963 is a LMDh hybrid prototype combining Porsche's 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 with a standardized hybrid system and sophisticated prototype aerodynamics; the 2026 version received further chassis, aerodynamic, and control-system development. Its 2026 Daytona victory was particularly notable because it gave Porsche and Penske a third consecutive overall Daytona win, making the #7 an important part of modern endurance-racing history.
