García is a multiple-time endurance racing champion and longtime Corvette factory driver, Sims is a highly experienced British GT and prototype racer, and Kirchhöfer is a rising German GT star with strong international experience. The Z06 GT3.R represents a new generation of Corvette racing, built from the same aluminum chassis foundation as the road-going C8 Z06 and powered by a race-developed 5.5-liter naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V8. Its combination of American V8 performance, advanced GT3 aerodynamics, mid-engine balance, and Pratt Miller’s decades of Corvette Racing expertise sets it apart from traditional front-engine GT competitors.
