This is the Porsche 935 K3 #5 2nd 1981 Daytona in 1:18 scale by WERK83.

The Porsche 935 K3 from Bob Akin Motor Racing, wearing the iconic Coca-Cola livery and entered as car #5, secured a strong 2nd place finish at the 1981 24 Hours of Daytona. Piloted by team owner Bob Akin, Craig Siebert, and endurance racing legend Derek Bell, the trio battled through a highly competitive field and challenging conditions. This race was notable for its intense manufacturer rivalry and marked one of the standout performances for the privateer K3 variant, which was competing against newer factory machinery. The result further solidified Derek Bell’s reputation as one of the finest endurance drivers of his era, and highlighted Akin’s determination as both driver and team owner.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily
visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most
authentic replication.
